Adam

Adam Sweet is a faded musician who now prefers Linux to people. Studied BSc Computer Science at the University of Wolverhampton and now works as a Linux sysadmin for an E-Commerce and hosting company.

Went by the somewhat dismal IRC nickname of drinky for historical reasons, but more recently prefers the less crap, though less imaginative nick of adamsweet. Was an avid follower of LugRadio until he became one of the presenters in mid 2007.

Likes Debian, Ubuntu, Fedora, guitars, girls IRL and good films. He used to really like alcohol but conversely, it really didn't like him much so now he is miserable.

Aquarius (or Aq to his friends)

Loud-mouthed, opinionated information architect who is always right. A fan of Python, ROX, Gnome, and Project Utopia. A snapshot of his life is at his website, As Days Pass By.

LUGRadio Presenter

Barbie

Occasional attendee to real-life meetings and speaker for hire.

Leader and Director of Birmingham Perl Mongers - http://birmingham.pm.org

First started using Unix in 1985 at Coventry Polytechnic and have been using Linux since 1998. I use a mixture of Debian (servers) & Ubuntu (desktops) these days and have even got my other half and son using Ubuntu on their laptops. A software engineer rather than a sysadmin, so would see my knowledge of Linux as average to intermediate ... but I'm getting better. Currently work for MessageLabs, so find email entertaining, especially when spammers think they can outwit our scanners.

Loves Baltis, Guinness, Perl and some damn fine music :)

David

David Goodwin, director of Pale Purple.

Has used Linux since 1998, starting with RedHat 5 (yuck) and quickly moving onto Slackware, before being converted to Ubuntu (and sort of Debian) in around 2004 (?). Day job consists of a large amount of non-frontend web development in PHP, and some Linux Systems administration.

Sort of involved with West Midlands PHP User Group

Married (to Kat (see below)).

Eversion

Obligatory internet pseudonym for Rob Annable ("Annable the Cannibal" to his friends!)

Architect, father, rock climber, fencer, wannabe geek, bad guitar player owner*.
