Brief Biography

Linux user since the early days. I run Linux on all my computers, and look after several friends linux PC's too. After spending years running RedHat, then few running Mandrake on my home machines, I finally settled on Ubuntu about 4 years ago, though I prefer RHEL or CENTOS as a server platform. My kids (age 3-14) also use Ubuntu. I'm RHCT qualified, just missed RHCE by a whisker :-(. Currently working for an IT consultancy in West Bromwich, where I'm the pet linux geek. I look after lots of Linux servers in a managed hosting environment.

Applications I'm familiar with: Apache, MySQL, DRBD/Heartbeat, Python, Perl (a bit), Rsync, BASH/shell Scripting, sed, Sendmail (a smidge), CPanel, ImageMagick...
